It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Colette on September 17, 2018, in her 92nd year.
Colette was born and raised in Trois-Rivières. She met the love of her life Arthur (Art) Kavanagh, they were married on October 11, 1952 and moved to Montreal. In 1965, they settled in Chateauguay to raise their family.
Leaving to mourn is her adoring husband of 65 years Art; loving daughters Sharon (Giovanni) and Kelly (Scott); Nanny to her most cherished grandsons Michael (Leighanne), Matthew, William and Thomas; many nieces and nephews.
Colette treasured time spent with her family and always looked forward to planning family gatherings, sometimes planning months in advance! Colette will always be remembered for her gentle ways, her kindness and most important the love for family.

on Sunday, September 23rd from 3:00 -5:00 pm. The family will receive condolences on Monday, September 24th, starting at 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (295 McLeod Street, Chateauguay), followed by the mass at 11 am. Her ashes will then be laid to rest in the Columbarium of the funeral home.
