In Chateauguay, Melanie Cooper passed away July 19th, 2020. She leaves her son Vernon, sister Sheila, and brother Donald along with her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends from her journeys around the world.

Testimonies of sympathy
Melanie was my little sister. She was a loving and caring person who thought of others before herself. She was a gentle soul. I didn't know her well, only as a child, by the time she was an adult I had left home to lead my own life. We didn't reconnect until she was caring for our Mum and had matured into a lovely woman. One thing I will always remember is that no matter the situation she seemed to always have a smile and a laugh, even in the last days of her life. Goodbye Melanie, we will meet again. We shared a room and little girl secrets. I miss you, rest peacefully. Love
