We are deeply saddened to announce that Joan Ann Reid (Dunn) of Chateauguay Quebec passed away suddenly at 81 years of age, surrounded by her family on Sunday June 5, 2022, after a long battle with dementia.

 

Joan is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rene Reid; three children Ronald (Tania), Michael (Sue) and Donna (Gary); eight grandchildren Tyler ( Sara ), Sasha (James), Ryan ( Anne Marie ), Brent (Emily), Seth (Courtney), Mark, James, Katie; and four great grand children; Payton, Thalia, Adam and Lyla.

 

Joan will be missed by her younger brothers and sisters Marilyn (late Joe), Lois (Reg), Terry (Sharon), Tom (Charlotte) and Tim (Doreen). She also leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Visitations will be held on June 18th between 3 -5 PM, followed by a reception for the extended family in the banquet hall of the funeral parlor.

The family would like to thank the staff at Maison des Ainees, St Timothee for their care in Joan’s final days. A special thank you to Nicole who went out of her way to ensure Joan was pain free in her final hours.
