It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Howard Patrick (Buzz) Gibbs at Anna Laberge Hospital on July 26th with family by his side.

 

He led a very full life including a rewarding career. He received a Master’s degree in Education from McGill University, worked as a freelance writer, worked as a policy analyst and in issues management, taught at the McGill Center for Continuing Education and was an elected member of the New Frontiers school board.

 

He was a devoted husband to Anne (Frazer) and father to Meaghan (Patrick) and Emily (Shaun) and a wonderful grandpa to Alex and Rosalie. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

 

The family would like to thank the staff of 2 west at Anna Laberge hospital for their excellent care and attention.

 

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Anna Laberge Hospital Foundation or to a charity of your choice in the memory of Howard (Buzz) Gibbs would be greatly appreciated.

 

 

The viewing will take place on Sunday August 1st from 1:00 - 5:00pm at
