It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Weiss.  He passed away peacefully in Chateauguay on Wednesday February 24th, 2021 at the age of 80 years.   

Beloved father and father-in-law of Katherine and Mauro.  Adored Opa of Massimo, his only grandchild who made him so proud and brought him endless joy. Dear brother of Alfred Weiss. Cherished companion of Claire.   

When we remember him, it will be as the loving, funny, humble, kind and thoughtful man he was.  He was so deeply devoted to his family and nothing mattered more to him than those around him be well and happy.

Heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Care staff at Anna Laberge Hospital, and especially to Dr.Parent.  We will forever be grateful for their kindness and compassion.  

Losing him is the first sorrow that he will not be there to help us through.   Richard, Daddy, Opa, will be deeply missed by his family and friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.  His family asks that you always remember what a beautiful gentle soul he was.   

Donations in his name may be made to any charity that is dear to your heart, as Richard would have wanted.
